Tips for the fishing event.

If you can do the mini-game when not afk fishing it works better than auto if not a certain rank. The food is useful, monkeys should be fed when possible.

Wrong. Rank up fishing to the numbered ranks (rank 9 or so) and it's much better catching chances than doing the fishing minigame. It doesn't cost a lot of AP to save yourself a little trouble.

I also request a source for your claims to obtain Soundbox and the pattern. That just looks like a myth to me.

uhhh with the bait u cant get the pattern or the book thats only with regular bait.
Also ranking is the best way.  Higher ranks lower the time between the each mini-game in turn getting more items for your time.

I had reason to believe that the items would be available due to former events of the like, I assume one of you have put some effort into finding out, I have not, I don't do "afk events" too much lag on the servers. As for the mini-game, that's a per person thing, I sincerely doubt 90% of Archanea will put in the AP just for this/future fishing events. I however did edit the original post for both of your likings.

Both items are rare enough as it is with regular bait; and the event bait takes fished items from an entirely different list.

I'll stick to my Tir bridge. :L

Yeah, they really are, it took me about 2 months of afk fishing to get my pattern. After the book now for a friend of mine.

Tir's not a bad spot, just tons of people there.
