Mafia - Explanation and Interest Seeking

It's been a long time since I've done something like this anywhere. Thought I might try to drum up some interest here. Let me know if you think you would be interested in playing.

Basically, Mafia is a game (usually forum-based, though can be done in live chats or IRL) where you have a large group of people known as the town and a smaller group of people known as the mafia. The town doesn't know who's who, but the mafia know who each other are. Each day, everyone gets together and discusses things, the town trying to find who's mafia and lynch them while the mafia try to remain undetected and make the town kill themselves, and each night, the mafia will choose a random townie and kill them. The town wins if they can find all members of the mafia and lynch them, and the mafia win if they outnumber or equal the town at any point in the game. In most games, there are additional roles that can serve to help the town, a few that serve to assist the mafia in winning, and even some that have their own agenda with different win conditions (though those roles would be limited to larger games).

We may not have enough people on the forum to play, as a normal game usually has at minimum 7 people, though 9 would be ideal for a game that won't last two or three rounds. But if there's enough interest, I would love to host a game here.
