Guild Meetings

As of now, guild meetings will generally be held at 5pm CST at the end of the first week and at the beginning of the last week every month at my homestead(Unless specified otherwise). Members are encouraged to attend.

Will we be Penalized for missing the meeting?

CST 5:00 pm = PST 2:00 pm, for all those in my time zone.

EST was 3 hours ahead of PST, so I thought CST = 2 hours ahead of PST.
.. Oh, I don't know ...

Actually PST is 2 hours behind CST, Idk about the other things, All I know is at 2am for me it's midnight for mabi.

No but you do lose out on any decisions made during them, thus forfeiting your right to complain if something is decided on you don't like. If you absolutely CANNOT make the meeting, ask someone to send you a summary I guess. Overall decisions made during the meetings won't easily be overturned.
The meetings are being done to give members more of a decision on how things are ran or what events we'll be doing, or what changes in current policies will be made rather than me just DOING it without saying anything to anyone.

Im bad with time and directions LOL, just thought i need to bring it up for people that its diff times, ehh lol.

I has question! So uh... since it hasn't been specified, I feel the need to ask if these guild meetings take place in a different place every meeting or if there is a specified place?

Strikes me as that limiting the dialogue on decisions to the actual meetings might be a bit restrictive. My mind goes to folks that aren't in a sympathetic time zone to the majority. Not to mention that even with trying to schedule around everyone, some individuals are inevitably going to miss the session now and again. You might consider assigning someone to write up summaries of the meetings and post them on the forums after the fact. The content could then be left open for discussion over another day or so.

To everyone who is confused about the day/time/place of the meeting: This week's meeting is the 26th, Sunday, tomorrow, at Idenn's homestead, 3pm Pacific time, 5pm Central, and 6pm Eastern. The next meeting after this one will be Saturday February 8th, (correct me if I'm wrong Idenn), same time, same place. 

The time and place should always be the same. 

The day is decided as the last Sunday in the month, and the end of the first week of the month, which is a Saturday.

For those unable to make it, I will be posting a summary of the meeting in a new thread. If anyone else wants to make their own summary and post it as well, that would be cool too, as I'm pretty much self-appointed secretary at the moment and there wasn't really a vote.
