| "Hello, everyone. My name is Promestein, Ninth Rank in the Hierarchy of Angels. I am the one who stole fire from the angels and gave it to the Milletians. Let me show you how to use it. We'll start off with the basics of Fire. These will just be the basics of what you need to know."CampfiresTo begin manipulating fire as a beginning step, let's first create a Campfire. This has many uses, from keeping you warm at night to cooking fresh meat. Simply by using the Rest skill next to a campfire of yours will give you a 150% boost in stamina recovery. This can be ranked up to receive a better boost in your recovery. FireboltOne of the three basic spells that you'll learn, and the most powerful of the three, is Firebolt. To learn this spell, buy the book titled "A Guidebook on Firebolt". Once you learn it, hold out your hand and imagine heatwaves gathering in it. This will become a ball of pure energy, a Firebolt. Throwing a Firebolt at a target will cause them pain from the blast, so be careful on how you use this. With that said, you could even charge it up four more times for one giant Firebolt, up to a max of five charges. This will maximize your spell to the highest it can go without a wand. FireballThis is the Intermediate spell preceding Firebolt. This spell requires you to have a fire wand equipped, or a staff with three fire stats. (Use Firebolt on monsters, giving you fire stats for your staff.) To gain this spell, you must equip your "Elemental Apprentice" title and speak to Steward at the Dunbarton school, while holding a fire wand. He will then give you a quest to fill a book. Use the table in the next post to help you find the missing pages. Once you have this spell, you'll need to charge it five times in order to cast. During this time, you also cannot move, so it's best to cast this spell when an enemy hasn't targeted you yet. If you need a quick Fireball during battle, it is recommended learning Snap Cast, which will instantly give you all five charges for any chargeable spell. Meteor StrikeThis is a highly advanced spell that should be handled with care. Learning the spell itself is ridiculous in itself, but you'll get it. In order to learn this spell, you'll need Rank 1 Fireball and Rank 1 Fire Mastery. Talk to Steward in the Dunbarton School who will give you the list of things needed to be done. Fire MasteryTo become better attuned to the element of Fire, you'll need to constantly cast Firebolt and Fireball. The higher your rank, the lower the cost of your fire spells and the higher your damage. "These are the basics of using Fire in the world of Erinn.
